THE brand REVELATION is a pioneer in the art of combining Haute Horlogerie and Nanotechnologies. Being inspired by the nanostructure of butterfly wings, REVELATION creates a magical dial which transition from black to translucent. The magic operates by a simple rotation of the bezel.
NATURE
BUTTERFLY wings colors are created by an optical phenomenon. Their scales are structured with nanometric folds which reflects to our eyes a specific lightwave by diffraction of the sunlight. This optical phenomenon frequent in nature inspired REVELATION for the nanostructure of its magical dial.
SCIENCE
THE MAGICAL WATCH DIAL® is composed of two optical discs patterned with a nanometric 3D structure shaped like grooves which act like shutters invisible to the naked eye. Depending on their positions, these structures stop or let the light travel through the dial revealing the movement and secondary functions.
